This 40-minute class is wholly dedicated to your core. Stoke up the fire-center of the body and get it burning bright, regardless of your physical fitness level. This class is a perfect pairing and warm-up for the yoga class immediately following. You'll be nicely warmed up but not too sweaty to be comfortable on your mat. We'll spend a bit of time focused on strengthening the low back — an integral part of core strength. Modification for past and healing injuries will be offered. Appropriate for all levels.
Michelle is a certified NETA group exercise instructor with more than seven years of group exercise instruction experience. Michelle began teaching group exercise at SUNY Oswego where she received a year of training all levels coaching as well as cycling instruction. She most recently taught fitness classes at the Auburn YMCA. Michelle personally enjoys higher-intensity classes where she excels at assisting people to push to and past their limits. "I find joy in helping people recognize their potential both in and out of the gym.” says Michelle. Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and sees clients locally after teaching fitness in the mornings.
